The words every System of a Down fan has longed to hear since 2006 have finally been spoken. Now that we know a new album is going to happen — the question is when?
System of a Down played the gigantic Brazilian music festival Rock in Rio on Sunday (Oct. 2nd). After the gig, Multishow caught up with drummer John Dolmayan and asked him about the possibility of a new album from the recently reformed quartet. John gave the cautious but re-assuring response:
"I know there's a lot of people waiting for an album; I'm waiting for an album just like they are. It's gonna happen when it's right and when we can make something that tops what we've done in the past."
