Chinese Ban NBA Players Under Contract
BEIJING -- If there is a lockout players such as Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul would not be able to participate in the CBA (Chinese Basketball Association) as they are currently contracted with NBA teams, the CBA will only allow Free Agents to play for teams in the league.

Although a few NBA players including Kobe, Carmelo and Chris Paul have expressed interest in playing in China and could be a huge media gainer for the Chinese Basketball Association, they will not be welcome. Players who want to play in the CBA must commit for the entire season in China, the Xinhua News Agency reported. Xinhua said more restrictions would be announced before the start of the Chinese season on Thursday Nov. 20th. It reported contracts would be designed to discourage players from ducking out for dubious reasons, such as suspect injuries or unverified family problems at home. CBA officials could not be reached immediately for comment.

Eden Prairie, Minnesota Legion Baseball Champs!

It took 13 Innings but Eden Prairie, Minnesota took down Tupelo, Missouri to capture the 2011 American Legion Baseball Title. Tupelo also held a 4-3 lead up until the eighth inning, when Eden Prairie short stop Blake Schmit scored to tie the game. Congratulations to Eden Prairie, Minnesota for becoming the Champions of American Legion Baseball and our local East Side Raiders out of Worcester, MA for being the Massachusetts Legion Champions this year!
