Big Time High School Football Realignment News
-The MIAA Football Committee is currently discussing the possibility of having a statewide football tournament. This discussion has put a hold on division realignments for the 2013 season. The Massachusetts State Football Coaches Association has brought up a new proposal. Fitchburg athletic director and Coaches Association Ray Cosenza said the new plan should be an improvement on the old plan. The new plan is expected to preserve leagues and allow additional teams to qualify for the postseason. With this plan High School Football will finish with six true state champions.
